3 Days 2 Nights Singapore Vacation Itinerary

Written by Ganjar

Singapore is a great choice for a short getaway. It’s a small country, making it easy to explore, and there are plenty of free attractions to enjoy.

In this article, I’ll share a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for a trip to Singapore. Even with just a short time, you can still explore many amazing spots.

I’ve included recommendations for iconic places that first-time visitors shouldn’t miss. Plus, most of these spots are free, so you don’t have to worry about spending too much.

Day One

Rain Vortex Jewel Changi

When you arrive at Changi Airport, don’t miss the chance to visit Jewel Changi Airport. It’s home to the Rain Vortex, the world’s largest indoor waterfall, and a must-visit photo spot in Singapore.

While you’re there, you can also explore the restaurants a nd shops around Jewel as you wait for your hotel check-in time. Once you’re ready, head to the MRT station at Terminals 2 or 3 to go to your hotel or the city center.

In the afternoon, head to Gardens by the Bay. This beautiful spot features themed gardens with plants from all over the world. If you like, you can bring a mat and have a relaxing picnic at Marina Barrage, a great spot within the area.

As the evening sets in, make your way to the Supertree Grove to watch the Garden Rhapsody light show at 8 PM. The combination of lights and music under the night sky creates a magical atmosphere you won’t forget.

If you still have time, stroll over to Marina Bay Sands. Here, you can enjoy the Spectra Light & Water Show at 9 PM. This show combines lights, water effects, and music to create a spectacular nighttime experience.

Day Two

Start your day by exploring Chinatown, a great spot to try local snacks like dim sum and shop for Singaporean souvenirs. Make sure to visit the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, where you can enjoy a mix of cultural and spiritual experiences.

Next, head to Orchard Road, Singapore’s famous shopping district. While you’re there, don’t miss trying the legendary ice cream sandwiches sold by street vendors near ION Orchard. If you need a break, the street is lined with cafes and restaurants where you can relax and recharge.

Arab Street

In the afternoon, head to Bugis Street, a popular spot for affordable and unique finds. After shopping, take a short walk to Arab Street for its vibrant murals and delicious halal food.

Wrap up your day with a visit to the iconic Merlion Statue. The evening is the best time to go, as the cooler weather and colorful lights make the experience even better. Don’t forget to snap some photos with Marina Bay Sands in the background!

Day Three

Start your last day with a visit to Mustafa Centre in Little India. Open 24 hours, this shopping haven has everything from Singaporean snacks to perfumes, making it a perfect spot to pick up souvenirs at reasonable prices.

Before heading home, plan to arrive early at Changi Airport. It’s more than just an airport—it’s a destination in itself. Use the extra time to explore its unique attractions before your departure.

At Changi, you can check out the themed gardens like the Butterfly Garden, Sunflower Garden, or Cactus Garden. If you need to recharge, take advantage of the free snooze lounges scattered throughout the terminals.

That’s the recommended 3-day, 2-night itinerary for Singapore! It’s a great way to make the most of your trip, even with limited time.

Before you go, don’t forget to pack a refillable water bottle since Singapore has plenty of water refill stations in public spaces. And remember to dress comfortably, as the weather is usually hot and humid.
