If you grew up collecting dinosaur toys or you still get a little starstruck every time you watch Jurassic Park, December 2026 is about to become a month worth circling on your calendar.
DINO-A-LIVE, the Japanese production house behind the world's first non-verbal dinosaur live show, is finally bringing its signature production, DINOSAUR ODYSSEY, to Singapore. This marks the show's first international debut and its first large-scale indoor production staged outside Japan.
The show will take over the Resorts World Convention Centre at Resorts World Sentosa from 3 to 6 December 2026. In Japan, DINOSAUR ODYSSEY has already drawn more than 25,000 attendees, so it makes sense that expectations for its Singapore run are running high.

What sets DINOSAUR ODYSSEY apart from your usual dinosaur attraction comes down to proximity. Instead of watching dinosaurs on a screen or from behind a barrier, you'll be sharing the same space with them.
A total of 15 ultra-realistic dinosaurs will roam freely across the performance area, including the Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Utahraptor, Triceratops, Suchomimus, Tyrannosaurus, Dakotaraptor, and Allosaurus.
Across roughly 70 minutes, you'll be pulled into a world where dinosaurs feel alive again. It's not just about how lifelike they look, but the whole atmosphere built through music, dance, immersive visuals, and theatrical effects that bring in wind, lush greenery, blooming flowers, and even swimming fish.
Every element is designed so audiences of all ages can experience a celebration of nature and life from the dinosaurs' point of view.

What makes these dinosaurs feel so convincing is a technology called DINO TECHNE, a self-supporting mechanical suit developed by Japanese company ON-ART over more than 20 years.
It's been patented internationally and recognised in Japan for its technological innovation. You'll notice it in the blinking eyes, shifting muscles, and subtle body movements that push these creatures well beyond your average animatronic.
Each show will seat approximately 3,000 guests, and across its Singapore run, DINOSAUR ODYSSEY is expected to welcome more than 30,000 visitors. That scale alone makes it one of the biggest family entertainment experiences heading into the year-end school holidays.

For those craving an even closer encounter, there's an optional T-Rex Photo Experience priced at SGD 30. It's limited to just 100 slots per show, giving you a professional photo opportunity with a life-sized, 12-metre-long Tyrannosaurus Rex, with up to eight people allowed per photo.
The package includes a printed copy of the photo and an Edokko Dinosaur Mini Plate in the Flower Dragon design, worth SGD 10.
This experience is designed as a special finale once the main show wraps up, turning into a personal keepsake you can actually bring home.
The fun doesn't stop when the curtain falls. DINO Mart is billed as the world's largest DINO-A-LIVE merchandise showcase, featuring more than 100 exclusive items shipped straight from Japan. Expect premium dinosaur figures and collectibles, educational toys, stationery, lifestyle accessories, home decor, and rare fossil replicas.
If you're getting hungry, swing by DINO Café, a collaboration with Senmo Coffee. It serves a limited-edition dinosaur-themed food and beverage menu, paired with exclusive merchandise you can grab before or after the show.
