Uniqlo U has officially announced its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, launching in Singapore from 11 September 2026. The moment carries extra weight this time, as it marks the 10th anniversary of the Uniqlo U line.
At the same time, this is also the final collection from designer duo Christophe Lemaire and Sarah-Linh Tran, who have led the line since its debut in 2016.
Titled "Confidence in Form," this season's release closes out a decade-long chapter for Lemaire and Tran under Uniqlo's Paris R&D Center.
Their tenure leading Uniqlo U may be ending, but the line itself isn't going anywhere. The meticulous tailoring and timeless design approach they've built will carry forward into Uniqlo U's next chapter.

Christophe Lemaire joined Uniqlo in 2015 as artistic director of the newly established Paris R&D Center. He'd previously held similar roles at Lacoste and Hermès before stepping down from Hermès womenswear in 2014 to focus on his own label, Lemaire.
Alongside Sarah-Linh Tran, who has also served as co-artistic director at the Lemaire label since 2010, the pair went on to design the very first Uniqlo U collection, which launched for Fall/Winter 2016.
Over the past ten years, Uniqlo U has built its identity around "Future LifeWear," everyday clothing elevated through considered design, innovative materials, and contemporary silhouettes.
Rather than treating each season as a standalone proposition, Lemaire and Tran's team consistently revisited familiar wardrobe archetypes and adapted them to shifting lifestyles while holding onto a sense of simplicity and permanence.
Talk of Lemaire and Tran stepping back had already been circulating since mid-year. There was reportedly internal discussion at one point about continuing Uniqlo U without its original designers, but that idea was personally vetoed by Fast Retailing's chairman.
It's a decision that says a lot. Uniqlo U is seen as inseparable from Lemaire and Tran's specific creative identity, not a concept that can simply be handed off to someone else.

True to its name, "Confidence in Form" brings core wardrobe archetypes together into one cohesive system of form, material, and colour, defined by precision and elegance.
This marks a shift from last year's Fall/Winter collection, which was themed "Poetic Utility." This time around, the approach leans into a more structured, precision-driven design across the collection.
For the men's line, the focus is on functionality and personal expression. The Utility Jacket takes on a roomy, oversized cut drawn from the military field jacket, with a drawstring waist and flap front pockets for a clean, streamlined finish.
There's also the Brushed Cotton Shirt Long Sleeve, made from soft brushed cotton with two military-style chest pockets, versatile enough to wear as an outer layer or tucked underneath.
Meanwhile, the women's line explores the balance between soft materials and structured silhouettes.

The Double Face Knit Dress Sleeveless has a long, straight silhouette built with tubular knit construction. It's paired with a merino wool-blend outer and a cotton-blend jersey lining, which is easy to layer over a shirt or turtleneck.
There's also the Fleece Short Jacket, a collarless piece with a boxy silhouette in soft, lightweight fleece, finished with binding at the cuffs and hem to keep the cold out.
One detail that stands out this season is the use of bright red as an accent colour across select looks, cutting through what's otherwise a restrained, muted Fall/Winter palette.
Across the outerwear category more broadly, the collection introduces coats with the box-cut proportions long associated with Lemaire and Tran's work for Uniqlo U. It's built to allow movement while keeping a structured overall shape.
Puffer jackets also feature heavily this season, including collared versions that bring a sharper, more polished look than your typical puffer.
The Uniqlo U Fall/Winter 2026 collection goes on sale in Singapore from Friday, 11 September 2026. The range comprises 14 women's items, 15 men's items, and two accessories, with most pieces designed to be genderless.
The full collection will be available at Orchard Central Global Flagship Store, ION Orchard, VivoCity, Jewel Changi Airport, Tampines Mall, and Jem, as well as through the Uniqlo Singapore online store. Other Uniqlo stores across Singapore will carry a partial lineup.
If you've been following Uniqlo U for a while, this Fall/Winter 2026 collection is your chance to pick up signature pieces from the Lemaire and Tran era before the line moves into a new chapter that may take on a different design direction.
And if you're just starting to build a quality basics wardrobe with timeless cuts, this is a great entry point into the LifeWear philosophy that's defined Uniqlo U for the past decade.
Mark 11 September 2026 on your calendar and make time to swing by one of Uniqlo's flagship stores in Singapore!
